Tenlong TL heavy-duty single-shaft shredder is the flagship heavy-duty primary crushing host of the TL series. It is equipped with self-developed V-type DC53 reversible four-edge rotor, dual-motor high-torque drive on both sides, integrated structure of fully automatic hydraulic feeding and hydraulic screen changing, and original Siemens intelligent PLC electric control system, achieving a stable high shredding capacity of 1.5–12 tons per hour. Custom-built for 10,000-ton recycling industrial parks, provincial hazardous waste disposal centers, and large-scale plastic/wood/cable waste processing plants, this equipment is suitable for large-scale volume reduction and recycling of mixed solid waste. The full series of heavy-duty single-shaft shredders adopt DC53 special mold steel blades, processed by integrated factory quenching and tempering heat treatment to balance steel hardness and chipping resistance, adapting to harsh working conditions with mixed metals, sediment, and glass fiber impurities. Each blade features four reversible cutting edges. After single-side wear, rotating the blade by 90° restores a brand-new cutting edge, realizing four-cycle reuse and quadrupling the overall service life. Weld repair is available after extreme wear for repeated use. Compared with ordinary single-sided carbon steel blades on the market, the annual plant cost of blade procurement and polishing consumables is reduced by over 70%.

The heavy-duty single-shaft shredder adopts staggered V-type blade arrangement to form layer-by-layer progressive meshing shear force. It ensures smooth feeding of stacked solid wood pallets, compressed packaged films, and super-large hollow chemical barrels, completely eliminating material bridging and shaft winding failures. The gap between moving and fixed blades can be precisely manually fine-tuned: wider gaps for thin and soft materials to speed up production, narrower gaps for thick hard plastics and mixed metal materials to guarantee uniform and fine discharge particle size. For glass fiber plastic and sediment-mixed waste, customized overall hard alloy surfacing coating on the rotor is optional to further upgrade blade wear resistance.

Equipped with 480mm medium and 650mm super-large solid forged rollers, the integral main shaft undergoes quenching and tempering heat treatment with excellent torsion resistance and high-strength impact resistance. It maintains zero bending and zero deformation during long-term shredding of thin iron sheets and metal-mixed thick plastics, supporting year-round uninterrupted heavy-duty mass production.

III. Fully Automatic Hydraulic System: Dual Labor-saving Core Configuration of Feeding & Screen Changing

  1. Long-stroke Dual-cylinder Balanced Forced Feeding

The heavy-duty single-shaft shredder features a feeding stroke of 1250–1300mm. The integrated widened feeding plate compresses and pushes materials evenly across the entire surface, preventing floating and hanging of light fluffy waste and large hollow materials. Oil pressure thrust and cylinder travel speed can be customized via Siemens PLC program: low-speed high-torque stable shredding for thick large materials, and high-speed feeding for thin films and cardboard to boost capacity. The bottom of the feeding box is inlaid with thick copper wear-resistant liners and equipped with a dedicated fine material chute to collect debris and dust centrally, avoiding hydraulic cylinder erosion and extending the service life of hydraulic components.

Different from small shredders with manual bolt disassembly screens, TLheavy-duty single-shaft shredders support one-click automatic hydraulic door opening. A single operator can complete screen replacement of different apertures within 10 minutes, greatly improving efficiency for switching between multiple material types. Customizable screen holes include round holes, hexagonal holes, and Z-type anti-clogging holes. The standard factory aperture is 40mm, with non-standard discharge sizes of 10–100mm available on request. The screen door is equipped with a dedicated safety interlock switch; the main shaft and hydraulic system will cut off power and lock synchronously after door opening for maintenance, fully protecting operator safety.

All hydraulic stations of heavy-duty single-shaft shredders are standard-equipped with independent air-cooling systems, ensuring constant oil temperature and non-decaying hydraulic thrust during 24-hour continuous production in high-temperature summer conditions. For shredding low-melting-point plastics such as PE and PP, optional water-cooled bearing seats for rotors can be installed to avoid blade adhesion caused by high-temperature melting of material friction and ensure unobstructed continuous discharge.

Adopting dual-motor bilateral synchronous reducer drive with large-module helical gears, the equipment features strong bearing capacity to withstand instantaneous peak shredding impact. The TL48 series is equipped with 45–75kW dual motors, while the TL65 flagship series is upgraded with 90–132kW super-large dual motors, and the TL65300 top model achieves a peak hourly output of 12 tons.
