350 Type Spiral Crusher Solves the Problems of High Dust and High Loss in Hard Pipe Crushing

Before equipment upgrading, the customer’s old equipment had prominent problems: the high-speed impact structure generated a large amount of fine powder when crushing thick-walled pipes, leading to a high loss rate of effective materials; ordinary cutters with insufficient hardness suffered from frequent edge chipping and wear, requiring weekly polishing and replacement with time-consuming and costly maintenance; the equipment lacked a heavy-duty deceleration structure, often stalling during hard material crushing with severe spindle vibration and high failure rate; the crushed materials had uneven particle size and many burrs, increasing the difficulty of subsequent cleaning and granulation purification, resulting in poor finished particle quality and low market selling price.
The newly put into operation 350 type spiral crusher has comprehensive upgrades in process and hardware, perfectly adapting to the customer’s working conditions of hard pipe and plate crushing. Equipped with a ZSY280 hard tooth surface reducer, it realizes stable high-torque transmission, easily buffers the impact force of hard material crushing, and eliminates stalling and transmission damage. The 40Cr forged spindle has sufficient rigidity without vibration and deformation during long-term heavy-duty operation, ensuring equipment operation precision.
The core crushing component adopts SKD11 high-hardness alloy cutter group with 24 movable cutters and 17 fixed cutters arranged in spiral. It delivers uniform shearing force, wear resistance and chipping resistance, specially optimized for thick-walled hard plastic crushing, greatly extending cutter service life. The 46r/min low-speed shearing process fundamentally reduces dust generation and material loss rate. The 800*800mm large feeding port supports direct whole material feeding without pre-cutting, saving a lot of manual pretreatment costs. The standard 800mm discharge height can seamlessly connect with the customer’s original conveying production line for smooth and efficient automated production.
After half a year of operation, the customer feedback shows that the spiral crusher operates extremely stably with almost no failure shutdown; the crushed particles are uniform and regular with very little dust, greatly improving the utilization rate of effective materials; the cutter maintenance cycle is extended several times, sharply reducing operation and maintenance costs; manual material pretreatment is canceled, significantly cutting labor costs and improving overall production profits, fully adapting to the large-scale and refined mass production needs of the factory.
